The post-season kicks off this week at Bethpage Black, one of the toughest courses in the country. Staff photographer Stephen Szurlej has been snapping photos of the 7,468-yard track for years. Here are seven of his best shots. Buckle up.
Turnberry’s Ailsa course on Scotland’s Ayrshire coast has been home to four British Opens, most recently in 2009 where Tom Watson missed an eight foot putt for par on the 72nd hole to win. He eventually lost to Stewart Cink in a playoff.
